Delete Your Nudga Account
How to delete your account and what happens to your data.
Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Nudga account at any time. Deleting your account will remove your profile, nudges, contacts, and all associated data from our systems.
Option 1: Delete From the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the Nudga app:
- Open the Nudga app and sign in to your account
- Tap your profile icon or navigate to Settings
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Your account and data will be scheduled for permanent deletion immediately.
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you are unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion manually, send an email to:
Please use the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your Nudga account. We will verify your identity and process the request.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
- All nudges and reminders you created
- Your contacts and escalation recipients
- Notification history and escalation records
- Subscription and billing information
- App preferences and settings
Data Retention
After a deletion request is submitted, your account is deactivated immediately and your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. During this period, your data is inaccessible and cannot be recovered.
Some minimal logs (such as anonymized server logs) may be retained for a limited time beyond this period for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes. These logs do not contain personally identifiable information.
